Nice job with the pose and dramatic shading. I wouldn't use the blur on the arm and face though, it looks a little strange against the sharp edges of the rest of the image.
The only thing that I would fix on this would be the gradient scale used on the grass. There is too much of a fade out between light and dark on the grass but other than that it is a great image.
The colors and the blur work together to create a surreal, dramatic effect. However, the white lines detract from this somewhat and should be removed/blended over. Overall there is a cool unique style to it. Nice job!
This course will develop & hone student's skills in working with image & text as they create solutions to a series of design problems. Visual literacy will be increased through exposure to contemporary design issues & graphic design history. Students will expand their proficiency in all aspects of the design process, including creative brainstorming, conceptualizing, critical thinking, collaboration & presentation. Students will create work by hand but predominantly in digital form with industry standard programs as in Adobe's Creative Suite.
