Cat Caro- Artifact Web Design

So, I've been working on my own independent project (with permission of course) on a visual design for a website; namely, for the website on which me and a writer I'm working with will be posting our webcomic "Artifact". The comic page visible is an example page from about a quarter of the way through chapter one. Artifact's a "Space Opera/ Space Epic" (think StarWars) so obviously I figured a space theme was the best choice, not to mention it's nice and simple, so it won't be distracting from the comic itself. The two space ships visible are from the story itself. In addition to that, I needed to make a links bar over the comic that'll lead to other parts of the website (the comics archive, the forum, the art gallery, character info, etc), which I made to look like the hologram touch screens that are in use throughout the story. And at the bottom I left room for any announcements or news we choose to make!
