Paul Scott CD design stuff

the stuff at the very top is the front and back of the insert.
next to the insert is the CD face.
all below that is for the minimal 2-page booklet.
A note about these posts: I (and a few friends too) have been using Garageband (and similar programs) lately to record, remix, and dub (record over another song) music for a while under the name "miserymachine" (same format as Puscifer- "musical collective", see Wikipedia). I plan to use this artwork as album artwork eventually for when I actually completely finish anything I/we record. As it is, I'm calling everything a "demo" because it still kinda stinks. But I'm working on it... To see my remix work (mostly on nine inch nails, the only band who actually gives fans their source audio to remix besides Radiohead, but i'm not going to pay $5 to remix some song i've never heard) go to http://remix.nin.com/member/identityunknown

  2. Niiiice, this is very cool. It'll definitely work well with remixes of NiN songs. On that note, I think Radiohead also offers audio sources of at least one song for fans to remix. It's not quite the same type of music, but you could get some interesting results, so maybe check it out :)

In terms of the image, although I like the addition of the red to the second skull pic, I feel like it's a little too stark against the rest. Maybe if you toned down the saturation of the red, greyed it out a bit, that might make it balance a little more. The top one is also really cool, it's a little more visually smooth, although also less dramatic then the red one.

  3. I like how it symbolizes what the guy is thinking. I only like the first one though because the colors seem to fit together better. USe the explosion one too but I personally think it's cooler if he looks right. I don't know why, but I do.

  4. the "explosion heads" could have been improved if you had continued the flames down the spines.

Same goes for the electricity spine wise.
