Nice use of gradients for the shading. The feathering also looks pretty neat, although I'd suggest maybe varying how much feathering individual parts have, it'll create a more striking effect.
The visage on the face of the boy in the picture has a lot of detail and shows some emotion in the picture. The transparency tool used to illustrate the expressions on their faces worked out very well.
i like the overall look and detail of this, as well as the detail in the eyes they look good. but the only thing i dont like is kind of the overuse of the blur effect. nice job though
I think the arms of the people should be more detailed but i love how its shaded. thats hard i guess especially in illustrator, a vector program. nice job!
The people look amazing. But, I think the background looks a little trippy, like I ate some strange root in the rainforest. It doesn't quite look realistic, but it definitely is very atristic, and the unreal background with the incredibly lifelike people makes a good contrast.
This course will develop & hone student's skills in working with image & text as they create solutions to a series of design problems. Visual literacy will be increased through exposure to contemporary design issues & graphic design history. Students will expand their proficiency in all aspects of the design process, including creative brainstorming, conceptualizing, critical thinking, collaboration & presentation. Students will create work by hand but predominantly in digital form with industry standard programs as in Adobe's Creative Suite.
