abigail pohl- stars tutorial

1. fill canvas with black,
new black layer,
filter>noise>add noise with settings

2. image>adjust> brightness and contrast with settings Amount:15%, Gaussian, Monochromatic
brightness -30, contrast 75

3. duplicate starts layer, brightness adn contrast-brightness -85 , contrast -50
scale layer 2X size
inverse layers
adjust layers with settings 230, 1, 250

4. inverse
set layer blend mode to screen
erase random areas of both layers

5. flatten image, rubber stamp, set blend option to linear dodge and clone little clusters of stars

6. adjust color balance, add subtle blues to whites

7. new black layer with layer blend mode at linear dodge
add lens flare with 105 mm prime

8. combine lens flare layers, then adjust color balance, select hilights and add more blue

9. brush tool with chalk brush with opacity 22%
new layer with linear dodge and brush in cosmic blue
