Tutorial on creating sparkle trail

1) open a new photoshop document

2) click on the brush icon and click on star 70 and star 17 and make a few stars

3) click on assorted brushes then append

4) click on star 50 and make a few stars

5) click on define brush preset and name it sparkle Brush

6) open you photo up-file then place

7) create a new layer and name it sparkles

8) go to shape dynamics and make size jitter 0% and control to fade and 25, go to scattering and do 110% and count at 3 and count jitter at 35%, click on the brush tip shape and make spacing 50%

9) go to master diameter to change the size of the brush

10) change the background to white on black and test out the brush on the picture

11) make a copy of the sparkle layer-command J-and go to filter then blur-gaussan blur at 4.0 pixels

12) make another copy and go to outer glow at 60% and pink

13) you can now use the sparkle tool
